I love fingerless mitts for early fall or spring mornings. Or, around the house if you keep it cold! They keep your hands warm while still allowing you to hold your coffee, dog leash or market bag (or all 3!) Make these in an afternoon for a perfect thank you gift. Mitts are knit flat and seamed up (though you can adapt pattern to knit them in the round, if desired). Each set of mitts requires 170 yards DK-Weight yarn. Gauge is 20 stitches and 28 rows to 4" in striped stockinette on larger needles.
SHOWN:
Mitts measure: 8" long x 3.5" with lots of give.
Pattern requires:
• 170 yds DK Weight Yarn
• 1 small stitch holder
• 2 stitch markers
• Tapestry needle
